Tiny Tower

Building management has never been so much fun. NimbleBit’s free iPhone game is a “real life” concept akin to Sims, whereby the player develops an either residential or business building. The player must build a tower and fill it with the lovable “bitizens”. These little guys can live in your apartments and if you wish, you can choose the right kind of bitizen to work in your stores undertaking life-like retail duties.  Your aim is to accumulate more money, so that you can by more residential or business floors for your tiny tower. In turn, you will attract more bitizens- so keep those shelves stocked.

But there is a major flaw- the game effects your daily activities, ultimately meshing the virtual and “real” world. Tiny Tower runs on real time, so if you don’t stock that shelf during that important meeting you’re losing money. The more you invest into the game the more you’ll get out of it, so it’s 

 not for the time poor. Give it a go- but try to keep your real job.
